Migrating Your WhatsApp Number to Credit Line
Credit Line is a way to pay for the WhatsApp Business API through your partner, Cekat.AI. You don't need to manage deposits or pay Meta directly. To use it, your business WhatsApp number needs to be re-registered to a new WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) that's already linked to Credit Line.
Because the process involves two systems, Meta and Cekat.AI, you may see some notifications along the way that look like errors.
Three things you'll need before you start
Admin access to the Meta Business Manager account (business portfolio) that your WhatsApp number belongs to.
Access to SMS or phone calls on the number you're moving, so you can receive the OTP code.
Access to the email address registered to your WhatsApp Business account at Meta. You'll use it to reset two-step verification (2FA) if needed.
Two things to avoid while the migration is in progress:
Don't delete the number from the WhatsApp Account in Meta Business Manager.
Don't remove the number from the Connected Platform page in Cekat.AI.
Doing either of these mid-migration can cause the process to fail, and you'll have to connect the number again from scratch.
How to connect your number to Credit Line
Reconnect the WhatsApp number in Cekat.AI: log in to Cekat.AI, open the Chat menu, and click the plus (+) icon in the Inboxes panel.

Give Cekat.AI access to your account: a Facebook login page will open. Click Continue.

Fill in the business details for the new WhatsApp account: enter your business name, category and the other details for the new WABA.

Enter your phone number: enter the number you want to move and choose how to verify it (Text message or Phone call). If this number has been connected to WhatsApp before, Meta will usually show a warning that the account is being moved.

Enter the OTP code: type in the 6-digit confirmation code from the SMS or phone call.

Review and confirm access: check the list of permissions being requested, then click Confirm.

Done: when you see the confirmation "Your account is connected to Cekat.AI", click Finish.

If reconnecting the WhatsApp number fails
A 6-digit PIN you don't recognize
Two-step verification (2FA) is turned on for the number
Turn off 2FA in WhatsApp Manager, or reset it by email if you've forgotten the PIN. See Cause 1.
The message "This phone number is already registered to a WhatsApp Business account with another partner…"
The number is still connected to a WhatsApp API account with another partner
Click Continue and the number will be moved automatically.
The number is still active on WhatsApp
The number is still being used in the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app on a phone
Delete the WhatsApp account from the phone, wait about 3 minutes, then try again.
The OTP code doesn't arrive
The SMS is delayed, or the number was entered incorrectly
Try the Phone call option, or double-check the number.
The reconnection suddenly stops
The number was deleted from Meta, or removed from Connected Platform, while the process was still running
Start again from Step 1. See Cause 4.
Cause 1: Two-step verification (2FA) is turned on for your number
WhatsApp offers two-step verification as a security feature. If it's turned on for the number you're moving, re-registration will ask for a 6-digit PIN that you might not know, especially if the team handling the migration isn't the same team that originally set up the number.
How to fix it:
Open Meta Business Manager → WhatsApp Manager → select your number → the Two-step verification tab.

If the status is Enabled, click Turn off two-step verification.

If you don't know the PIN, reset instructions will be sent to the email address registered to the account.

Open that email (check your Spam folder if it isn't in your inbox) and click the reset link.

On the page that opens (whatsapp.com/reset), click Turn off two-step verification to confirm.

Done. Two-step verification is now off. Carry on with the connection from Step 4.

Cause 2: The number is still connected to another account or partner
A WhatsApp number can only be active in one place at a time: the regular WhatsApp app, the WhatsApp Business app, or the WhatsApp Business API through another partner. If the number you entered is still connected to any of these, Meta will show this notice:
"This phone number is already registered to a WhatsApp Business account with another partner. If you continue, your number will be moved to your new account… Once moved, you won't be able to send or receive messages on your old account."

This is Meta confirming that it will move the number from its old account to the new Credit Line WABA. Click Next or Continue to go ahead. Once the process is complete, the old number's status will change to Transferred.

If the number is still active in the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app on a phone (rather than through the API), here's how to fix it:
Open WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business on the phone that uses that number.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete my account, and follow the instructions.
Wait about 3 minutes before entering the number in Cekat.AI again.
Cause 3: No OTP code arrives
Check the SMS inbox on that number again, including any spam or SMS filter folders.
If nothing has arrived after a few minutes, choose the Phone call option instead.
Make sure the number you entered is correct (including the country code), and that the phone has a good signal.
Cause 4: The process stopped because the number was removed mid-migration
If the number was deleted from the WhatsApp Account in Meta, or removed from Connected Platform in Cekat.AI before the process finished, the migration can't be completed. You'll need to start again from the first step.
How to check the migration worked
Check these three things in Meta Business Manager:
The number's status in the new WABA is Connected.

The payment method in the new WABA is Credit line.

The number's status in the old WABA is Transferred, which means it was moved successfully.
