# Paid Ads

Paid Ads connects Cekat with your ad platforms: Meta, TikTok, and Google. From here you can:

* Pull spend and campaign results into Reports, so you can see every ad's performance in one place.
* Make sure every ad click is tracked with Cekat's tracking parameters, which can be added automatically.
* Send conversions back to the ad platforms, such as leads and purchases, so their algorithms can optimize your results.
* Report conversions from Click-to-WhatsApp and messaging ads to Meta and TikTok.

## Open Paid Ads

1. In the top navigation, click the Marketing tab.
2. On Marketing Home, click the Paid Ads card under Add-ons.

## Connect an ad platform

The Platform tab shows Meta, TikTok, and Google, with their status and the number of accounts syncing.

To connect a platform, you only need to sign in and grant access. There's no code or API key to copy.

1. On the Platform tab, click the connect button on the platform's card.
2. Sign in to your Meta, TikTok, or Google account.
3. Allow Cekat to access your ad accounts.

Once connected, the platform card shows Connected and the number of accounts syncing. To set up a platform, click Manage. Each platform has its own guide: Meta, TikTok, and Google.

## Choose which conversions to send

The Conversions tab decides which Cekat events go to each platform, and under which name. These settings apply to every platform at once.

1. Click the Conversions tab.
2. Turn on the trigger events you want to send. Events are grouped into:
   * Website: events from the website snippet, such as Form Opt In, User Registration, and User Login.
   * Chat: events from conversations in your inboxes, such as Unique Session Start and Session Resolved.
   * Pipeline: recorded when a contact reaches a pipeline stage.
3. In the Meta, TikTok, and Google columns, pick the destination event name. For example, Form Opt In is sent as Lead to Meta, SubmitForm to TikTok, and Lead to Google.

Events labeled CUSTOM are sent as custom events under their own name. The number of events turned on for each platform appears in its column header, for example “13 on”.

## Keep in mind

* Ad data syncs every night, and also when you turn on sync for an account.
* Money is converted to USD at daily reference rates. These figures are estimates, not settlement amounts.
