The Leads objective can collect prospects through:

  • Instant Forms

  • Website

  • Messenger

  • Instagram

  • WhatsApp

  • Calls

3. Set up the campaign

Campaign name

Give your campaign a name that follows a consistent format.

Example:

Campaign details

Make sure these are set:

  • Buying type: Auction

  • Campaign objective: Leads

Budget

Choose a budget strategy:

  • Campaign budget Meta automatically spreads your budget across the ad sets most likely to perform best.

  • Ad set budget You set a separate budget for each ad set.

For a simple test, use:

  • Budget type: Daily budget

  • Example budget: IDR 20,000 per day

  • Campaign bid strategy: Highest volume

Keep in mind that daily spend can vary. Meta may spend more on some days and less on others.

A/B test

Only turn on A/B test if you want to compare different versions, for example:

  • Different creatives

  • Different audiences

  • Different placements

  • Different copy

For your first campaign, you can leave A/B test Off.

Special ad categories

Only choose a special category if your ad is about:

  • Financial products or services

  • Employment

  • Housing

  • Social issues

  • Elections or politics

If none of these apply, leave it blank.
