Contacts

The Contacts page shows all your contact data in a board that each user can customize. There are two view modes: Table and Kanban.

Managing views

Each board has several views that users can manage.

  1. Adding a new view:

    • Every user can add a new view by clicking + New View.

    • Each view can be set to public or private.

  2. View actions:

    • Duplicate: every user can duplicate a view.

    • Change visibility & delete: only an Administrator or the view's owner can do this.

    • The default view can't be deleted.

  3. View order:

    • The order of views is set per user, not globally.

    • Pinned views appear furthest to the left.

Who can see which contacts

Users can only see contacts based on these rules:

  • Contacts assigned to themselves.

  • Contacts belonging to people below them in the role hierarchy.

  • Contacts belonging to colleagues, if Share data with peers is turned on for their role.

  • Contacts that haven't been assigned to anyone yet (unassigned).

Table & Kanban settings

Each view mode has its own settings, which you can open from View Setting.

  1. Table settings:

    • Show or hide the fields you want in this view.

  2. Kanban settings:

    • Choose how cards are grouped with Group by.

    • Cards are grouped by Stage by default.

Filter & Save as View

An Administrator or the view's owner can save how a board looks as the global default.

  1. Setting the default layout:

    • Switch the view type (Table or Kanban) as needed, then save it as the global default.

  2. Using filters:

    • Use Basic Filter for simple filters on the available fields.

    • Use Advanced Filter to combine more complex conditions.

    • Click Save as View to apply the filter as the global default view.
