# IP Blacklist (Livechat)

**IP Blacklist** lets you block specific visitors from using the **Livechat widget** on your website. Blocked visitors see a blank page when they try to open Livechat.

This only applies to Livechat and doesn't affect any other channel.

#### 1. Block an IP from the conversation panel

To block a visitor straight from a conversation:

* Open the conversation in the **Chat** menu.
* In the right panel (**Conversation Details**), find **Visitor IP**.
* Click **Block** next to the IP address.

#### 2. View the blocked IP list

To see which IPs you've blocked:

* Go to **Settings**.
* Choose **IP Blacklist**.
* Here you'll see every IP you've blocked.

For each one, you'll see:

* IP address
* Status (Blocked)
* When it was blocked

#### 3. Unblock an IP

To unblock someone:

* Go to **Settings → IP Blacklist**.
* Find the IP you want to unblock.
* Remove it from the list.

Once it's removed, the visitor can use Livechat again.
