# Analytic

All Dashboard is where you create and manage dashboards in Analytics. Each dashboard holds analysis widgets (Funnel, Behaviour, or Journey) built from your customers' events, so you can track your marketing and conversation metrics in one place.

## Open All Dashboard

1. In the top navigation, click the Analytics tab.
2. In the left sidebar, click the dashboard icon (the top icon).
3. Click the All Dashboard tab.

<figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/zFvvakHJ5OVubOo4WKlR/blobs/0HYiqj6WySps1XizA53S/Unknown%20image" alt="Figure 1. Click the dashboard icon (1), then the All Dashboard tab (2). Create a dashboard (3), search dashboards (4), or switch between table and card view (5)."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Manage dashboards

The Dashboards page lists every dashboard in your business.

* To create a dashboard, click Create a Dashboard.
* To find a dashboard, type its name in Search Dashboard.
* To switch views, click the card or table icon in the top right.

The table view has the Title, Charts, Last Updated, and Action columns. Use Showing below the table to set the number of rows per page.

### Duplicate and delete dashboards

* In card view, click the ⋮ icon, then choose Duplicate dashboard or Delete dashboard.
* In table view, click the copy or trash icon in the Action column.

<figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/zFvvakHJ5OVubOo4WKlR/blobs/mXVZFryf052Wga2o0Jgw/Unknown%20image" alt="Figure 2. Click the ⋮ icon on a card (1), then choose Duplicate dashboard or Delete dashboard (2)."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Open a dashboard

Click a dashboard's title or card to open it. Open dashboards appear as tabs at the top, next to All Dashboard, so you can switch between them quickly.

<figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/zFvvakHJ5OVubOo4WKlR/blobs/oEeX38pvD21CTldrvoOX/Unknown%20image" alt="Figure 3. An open dashboard appears as a tab (1). Set the dashboard date (2), add a widget (3), and use the icons on each widget (4)."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

To rename or close a dashboard tab:

1. On the dashboard tab, click the ⋮ icon.
2. Choose Rename title to rename it, or Close dashboard to close the tab. Closing the tab doesn't delete the dashboard.

<figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/zFvvakHJ5OVubOo4WKlR/blobs/gSl9UbDTgvrhc9thMm0m/Unknown%20image" alt="Figure 4. Click the ⋮ icon on the dashboard tab (1), then choose Rename title or Close dashboard (2)."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Set the dashboard date

The dashboard date applies to every widget on that dashboard.

1. Click the date picker at the top left of the dashboard.
2. Choose a preset period, such as Last 7 days or Month to date, or pick a start and end date on the calendar.
3. Click Apply.

Choose Per Widget if you want each widget to use its own date. The date in use appears at the bottom of each widget, for example “Custom range · Dashboard date”.

<figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/zFvvakHJ5OVubOo4WKlR/blobs/CAKX8hHh5U00vhMjXHAq/Unknown%20image" alt="Figure 5. Choose Per Widget (1) or a preset period (2), then click Apply (3)."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Add a widget

1. On the dashboard, click New Widget.
2. In Create New Analysis, choose an analysis type:
   * Funnel: see conversion across sequential steps and where customers drop off.
   * Behaviour: see event trends and customer actions over time.
   * Journey: see the paths customers take before or after one event.

<figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/zFvvakHJ5OVubOo4WKlR/blobs/UoP8BuyLqvbqt3qekTLU/Unknown%20image" alt="Figure 6. Choose an analysis type: Funnel, Behaviour, or Journey (1)."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

On an empty dashboard, these three options also appear in the middle of the page.

<figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/zFvvakHJ5OVubOo4WKlR/blobs/2LX5Assyc4XnLBjPLs5S/Unknown%20image" alt="Figure 7. An empty dashboard shows the three analysis types you can create right away (1)."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Build a Funnel analysis

1. Click Add Step.
2. In Choose an event, search for an event or browse its category: Chat, Order, Website, Marketing, or Calls.
3. Click an event to see its properties, then click Add Event.
4. Repeat for the next step. A funnel can have up to 10 steps.

To reorder steps, drag the handle on the left of a step. To remove a step, click the ✕ icon.

A funnel counts by User: each user is counted once, however many times they did the event.

### Filter a step with conditions (optional)

1. On a step, click Add Condition.
2. Choose a property, such as Channel.
3. Choose an operator: Equals, Does not equal, Is any of, Is not any of, Is empty, or Is not empty.

<figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/zFvvakHJ5OVubOo4WKlR/blobs/eJ9HnaFTEnOBPsuS211b/Unknown%20image" alt="Figure 11. Choose a property (1), an operator (2), and a value (3). Click the trash icon (4) to remove the condition."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Read Funnel results

The preview shows the total conversion from the first step to the last, a chart per step, and a Data Table with these columns:

* Users: the number of users at that step.
* From previous: the percentage from the previous step.
* From step 1: the percentage from the first step.
* Dropped: the number of users who dropped off.

To download the table, click Export to Excel. When you're happy with the result, click Save Analysis.

The preview uses the dashboard date. The date you pick in the editor is saved with the widget and used when the dashboard is set to Per Widget.

## Build a Behaviour analysis

1. Click Add Event, then pick an event as you would for a funnel. An analysis can have up to 10 events.
2. Optional: click Add Condition to filter the event.
3. Click the color swatch on each event to tell them apart on the chart.
4. Click Save Analysis.

<figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/zFvvakHJ5OVubOo4WKlR/blobs/jysulboidXcVYywqiTid/Unknown%20image" alt="Figure 15. Click Add Event (1). Behaviour counts every time an event happens (2)."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Behaviour counts by Events: every time an event happens is counted, including repeats by the same user. The order of events doesn't matter.

The results show the total count, a daily chart, and a Data table with the Count, Unique Users, % of Total, and Avg. per User columns.

<figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/zFvvakHJ5OVubOo4WKlR/blobs/rlVUZEaRvvJv8SdX5bNp/Unknown%20image" alt="Figure 16. Change the color of each event (1). See the total count (2) and the data table (3)."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Build a Journey analysis

1. Click Add Event, then choose an anchor event, such as Chat Started.
2. Read the flow diagram: from the anchor event, each branch shows the next event with its number and percentage of users.
3. Click the arrow on the right of the diagram to see the next step.
4. Click Save Analysis.

<figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/zFvvakHJ5OVubOo4WKlR/blobs/1ClzQEs2g6DQmTeS0IGQ/Unknown%20image" alt="Figure 17. Paths are traced starting from the anchor event (1). Click Add Event to choose it (2)."><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Read the detailed report

The detailed report shows the widget full size, with a metric summary at the top:

* Behaviour: Total Events, Unique Users, and Avg. per User.
* Funnel: Conversion Rate, Total Funnel Users, Completed Steps Users, and Avg Time to Convert.
* Journey: Total Users, Conversion Rate, Avg. Steps to Convert, and Drop-off Rate.

Analytics Configuration on the right summarizes the events and their conditions, how users are counted (Count by), and the Segment Filter. Click the arrow icon on the edge of the panel to hide or show it.

To change the analysis, click Edit. To go back to the dashboard, click the ← icon.
